I am a local resident, parent and teacher but have also been a Wiltshire Councillor since 2017. My local priorities include seeing investment in the Melksham area though the development of the old library site, improvements to the road network, the old Blue pool site and protecting the natural environment. I will also be working heavily to influence the redevelopment of the old Avon factory site as well as housing and business developments around the town, Whitley, Shaw and Beanacre.
At a Wilshire County level I will be working to ensure that council services are the highest quality and as efficient as possible, that they meet the needs of residents, that the council continues to run a balanced budget and invests in local communities. I want the council to maintain its focus on preventative services that ensure people can live healthy, independent and rewarding lives.
