I am honoured to have been duly elected as Chairman of the Melksham & Devizes Conservative Association in June 2025.
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, I moved to the UK in 2000. Over the past 25 years, I’ve worked across the globe as a Management Consultant with firms such as KPMG and Siemens, helping businesses solve complex challenges and grow. I’ve been a proud member of the Conservative Party for over 20 years, previously serving as a Conservative Councillor and Deputy Leader of Hart District Council from 2011 to 2019.
Now semi-retired, I take on selected roles as a fractional Chief Revenue Officer and Sales Director, allowing me to dedicate more time to public service and community leadership.
My Values
I am a proud Thatcherite Conservative and Reagan Republican. I believe in:
- Individual responsibility
- Small government and low taxes
- Law and order
- Controlled immigration
These are not just ideological positions—they are real-world values that matter deeply to me and people across the UK, especially here in Wiltshire.
What I Learned on the Doorstep
In 2025, I stood as the Conservative candidate for Box & Colerne in the Wiltshire local elections. Though I did not win, I closed the gap with the Liberal Democrats by 14%—the result of 18 months of hard work and conversations with over 2,200 local residents.
What I heard repeatedly was this:
"We’re not sure what the Conservative Party stands for anymore."
This message was loud and clear: we must return to our core values, and we must clearly communicate them.
My Mission as Chairman
My role as Chairman is simple: to win elections. But to do that, we must first win back trust—by showing people who we are and what we stand for.
That’s why, starting this autumn, we are launching a clear and consistent message across Melksham & Devizes. Every Conservative candidate—whether for Town Council, Wiltshire Council, or Parliament—will sign up to our shared core values, which reflect what matters to our residents:
- Opportunity
- Low taxes
- Law and order
- Support for rural communities
We are currently finalising these values under the banner of our C.O.N.S.E.R.V.E. principles—an acronym that will help every voter understand exactly where we stand.
